The Daily gamecock

Founded in 1908, The Daily Gamecock is the editorially independent student newspaper at the University of South Carolina, providing comprehensive coverage of campus news, sports, and culture through its website and daily email edition. As a Design Editor, I created 3–5 graphics each week for news and sports stories, translating complex information into engaging visual content for print and digital audiences. I collaborated with writers and editors to enhance storytelling through design, managed weekly production workflows, and recruited and mentored new designers to ensure consistency and quality across the publication.
